강 사 희 Artist Kang, Sa-hee 2009 12th Solo Exhibition     Living Story  period : March 7 - March 13, 2009 Location : Seoul Kangnam-gu Cheongdam-dong 118-17 Nature Poem Building 2-201 Tel : 02-548-9648   Period : May 5 - May 13, 2009 Location : 1176W, Sunset Blvd Los Angeles CA U.S.A 90012 Tel : U.S.A 323-788-2234   [ Kang, Sa-hee / 2009_Living Story-소풍_90.9 x 72.7_30F_Oil on Canvas ]     Artist Note 삶은 살아가는 이야기의 집합체이다. 하루가 많은 일로 채워지듯 나의 한 작품 한 작품에도 많은 이야기들로 꾸며진다. 오늘을 어떻게 보낼까 하다가도 결국은 작업실로 향하게 된다. 특별한 주제가 없더라도 캔버스와 대면하기가 힘들지, 붓을 들면 행복하다. 머릿속 긴 외로움과 행복감을 담아 화폭에 옮긴다. 살아가면서 주변 사람들과의 힘든 과정도 화폭에 들면 정화되어 내 자신의 소중함으로 변화되어진다. 살아가면서 잠재된 심상을 끄집어내고 싶다. 행보한 메시지를 전하기 위해 다듬어진 내 작품을 늘 변함없이 보는 모든 사람들이 살아가는 동안 만큼은 평화롭고 따듯하고 행복하길 바라는 것이 나의 작은 바램이다.   2009. 작업실에서     Artist Note Life is a collection of everyday stories. Just like a day, filled with a lot of events and experience, my works, each and every one of them, are adorned with many stories. Thinking about how to spend the one day called today, I head for my studio. When I hold my brushes, I just fell happy, even without any specific theme in my mind with the lasting loneliness and joy in my mind moving themselves onto my canvas. Even some tiring and exacting events during the course of my relationship with others change themselves into my own cherished memories once on the canvas. I desire to take out the hidden images latent in people's everyday life.
